The Games was an Australian mockumentary Tv series in Sydney. The show was originally broadcast over the ABC and also had two seasons of 13 episodes per day, the first in 1998 and the second in 2000.
'The Games' Star-red satirists John Clarke and Bryan Dawe along with Australian comic Gina Riley and actor Nicholas Bell. It was composed by John Clarke and Ross Stevenson. The show centred to the Sydney Organising Committee for the Olympic Games and satirised corruption and cronyism from the movement, bureaucratic ineptness in the New South Wales public company, and behavior within the media and politics. An unusual feature of the show was the characters introduced the exact same name because the actors who played with , to enhance the illusion of a documentary on the Sydney Games.
