Overview
On the Gallipoli peninsula's beaches, ANZAC troops go as dawn breaks on April 25, 1915. Landing in Tolly the dark insanity, Bevan and their mates find it difficult to set a foothold on the treacherous slopes and deep ravines. They survive the next eight months on the peninsula. By time of the end evacuation that they have heard the skills of combat and what it means to be a new man in war.
