Overview
Dramarama is the name of a British children's anthology show broadcast on ITV between 1989 and 1983. It tended to comprise drama of a science fiction or supernatural bent. Anna Home, then head of children's and youth programming made the show at TVS production responsibilities were divided amongst most of the ITV franchise holders. Each episode has been in clinic a one-off production with its cast and crew, including the manufacturer and up to. Dramarama has been a launch pad to the likes of David Tennant, Paul Abbott, Kay Mellor, Janice Hally, Tony Kearney, Anthony Horowitz along with Annmarie Di Mambro and was a place to show themselves. It had been clearly one of the last credits of Dennis Spooner. Certainly one of Dramarama's episodes, including"Dodger, Bonzo And The Rest", gained so much popularity that it was turned in to its own series the next calendar year. It starred Lee Ross and has been located around a foster home that was large. The episode"Blackbird Singing At The Dead of Night" was developed by Granada into the TV series Children's Ward. It was repeated during CITV's 30th anniversary old-skool Weekend on 5 January 2013, for the first time since its first broadcast. The Series7 episode"Back To Front" -- notable for featuring a mirror image of the Yorkshire Television logo card at the ending -- had been replicated on 6 January 2013, again as part of CITV's 30th anniversary old-skool Weekend.
