Overview
Ctrl is an American humor webseries by NBC. It is the first stand-alone web series established by a significant television system. The show stars Tony Hale as a regular self-confidence-lacking nerd who finds they can reverse things in life. It is an adaptation and expansion of this film Ctrl Z by Robert Kirbyson, which was a success at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival.
SXM from the original short film Ctrl Z, which was screened at the Sundance Film Festival in 2008 spoted and made CTRL. SXM partnered with NBC studio to create the show. After NBC shut the studio in 2011, all rights reverted to SXM, who are developing Season 2 using a private investor and Yahoo. As of early 2012, the episodes may actually have now been removed from the NBC website, but can be found around Hulu.
