When the notorious bandit Henry Baker is freed from prison after 25 years, he is greeted by old friends and foes. He left behind a son who was charged with guarding his ill-gotten assets. A bearded vagrant with a pistol and a bullet scar on his stomach dating back decades. An inebriated deputy with one ear missing on one side. And there's a jaded street hustler with a sick mother and a lingering grudge. They track Henry to a run-down hotel where he intends to meet with his kid and the hidden gold bag he left behind.
