Tess Delaney is shocked to learn from the estate executor, Damhnaic McAuley, that not only does she have a half-sister she has also inherited half of an apple orchard from a father she never met. When she finally pays her new family a visit, she finds out that the orchard is in serious financial trouble. In order to save their family's orchard, Tess and her half-sister must use Tess's expertise as an antiques dealer to solve the mystery surrounding their grandmother's "treasure." Ultimately, Tess has a deeper insight into who she is as a person as a result of this process.
