The story of a beautiful Christian nun named Kyoko (Etsuko Shihomi), who is the object of affection for two very different men: one is the carefree yakuza gangster Haruhiko (Koichi Iwaki), who is the next-in-line to takeover the ragtag "Tenryu Gumi" gang, and the other is the bumbling police detective Kumashiro (Akira Emoto). The Tenryu Gumi is a group of misfits and other troublemakers, but because of their Christian ideals, they choose to keep a low profile and avoid conflict. Their archrivals, the more traditional "Kuroiwa Gumi," are a significantly more vicious and brutal group that is led by the godfather Kuroiwa (Hideo Murota).
