When an idealistic romantic gets fired from his day job, he's given a"onetime gig" to break a girl's relationship for her disapproving parents. This"onetime" gig spreads through word and he ends up becoming a skilled match-breaker. However, he eventually ends up falling for a number of his customers and must find out the best way to balance his covert project with his love-life.
