A joyful, unsuspecting couple, Max (Dan Wyllie) and Therese (Bojana Novakovic), buy a house in what looks like a quiet, friendly neighbourhood. They meet with an even more interesting family on the opposing side and make friends with a nice family on both side. But interesting soon becomes dull and becomes intolerable. When the intolerable becomes violent and the police are helpless, Max and Therese make an effort to take matters in their own hands.
