Yoram, a 50-year-old Tel-Aviv veterinarian, is forced to reconsider his relationship with his adolescent daughter Roni after she expresses a desire to end her life. He decides to take her on a trip to see her mother's family, a journey of self and mutual discovery in a primordial desert land encircling the Dead Sea.
