Paul Snider is a narcissistic time hustler who fancies himself a ladies man. His life changes when he meets Dorothy Stratten. Under his guidance Dorothy increases being a Playboy Playmate to fame. However, when Dorothy begins pursuing an acting career, the envious Paul finds himself elbowed by men that are famous.
