A marionette show owned by Judy and Punch is being revived in the anarchic town of Seaside, which is located nowhere near the ocean. Judy's superior puppeteering makes the show a hit, but Punch's unyielding ambition and penchant for booze lead to an unavoidable tragedy, which Judy must avenge.
