Overview
Bobby, Caroline, and Adam are all seniors this year at their high school, and as the conclusion of their senior year approaches, the pressure to "get it out alive" appears to be overwhelming for all three of them. As they each come to terms with what it means to love and be loved, they learn that they must negotiate the complexities inherent in human relationships and contend with their own unique interpretations of what it means to be neglected and deserted. The sport of baseball serves as the setting for this coming-of-age story, which follows three young people as they navigate the perilous road leading to maturity.
