Overview
A writer named Nakata lives with the painful memory of the death of his partner, whose life was cut short a few years ago. Was it an accident or did the person kill themselves? Doubt remains. So that he can get away from his guilty Nakata, conscience gives up on getting married and having kids. So, once he is free, he starts keeping obsessive, personal records of everything he does and writes about it in a book called "The Dark Room." A philosophical essay about sexuality, having children, and the future of the human race.
