Dustin, a young painter who dreams of becoming a professional, meets Christiane. He is on the hunt for love, sex, and inspiration in the form of a novel. Dustin begins on an obsessive hunt for Christiane in Southern California when she dumps him and vanishes as swiftly as she came into the relationship.
