Cheng Pei-pei plays with a fighter-for-hire that has been contracted by the government to recover the governor son, Golden Swallow. Holding him is just a set of rebels that are demanding their boss be released in exchange for the son that is caught. After a quick encounter with the group at a nearby restaurant, then Golden Swallow is combined by an inebriated wanderer Drunken Cat (Yueh Hua) who helps her in her mission.
