King Peter, a famous adventurer, took Chickenhare in as his own son. In order to avoid the taunts of his peers, this half-chicken, half-hare had to disguise himself as a hare. When the day of the Royal Adventurer Society trials comes, Chickenhare fails miserably because his disguise gets in the way. But he is determined to get a second chance and find the Scepter of the Hamster of Darkness before his bad Uncle Lapin. To wield the Scepter, the holder will have access to tremendous power. Lapin will be unbeatable if he gets his hands on it. With his loyal servant Abe, a sarcastic turtle, and Meg, an expert in martial arts, he goes on an epic and initiatory quest.
