Pastor John (Robert Amaya) and his wife Betsy (Erin Bethea), desperate to see their church grow, do the unthinkable and change their church's Christmas pageant. Mary Margaret (Sallie Wanchisn), an elderly choir director, is taken aback and leads the choir in a boycott. Faced with dismissal, Pastor John disguises himself as an elderly man in order to bridge the generation gap, win over Mary, and lead the choir back to the church. Pastor John must learn to love the unlovable or risk the ruin of his church and family when he discovers that the wounds are deeper than he first suspected.
